London Python Meetup, Wednesday, October the 8th
We’ll be running a Python meetup on Wednesday the 8th here at the ThoughtWorks UK office, (map here). We’ll start at 7p.m. for pizza, 7:30 for talks.
Any volunteers for talks and lightnings? If need be, I can run an improved version of the mock testing talk I gave at PyCon UK this year, but if anyone has a talk they’d like to give, that would be great.
I’ll need some lightning talks for certain. Remember - anyone can do a lightning. You don’t need to be any kind of expert; a plea for help or advice makes a perfectly good lightning. Expertise is welcome too, of course.
A pet project, a new library you’ve come across recently, a learning experience you’ve had, anything. Please, don’t be backward coming forward!
Again, a couple of volunteers to help me out with letting people in, leading people to a pre-arranged pub afterwards and so forth would be great, too.
Please leave a comment if you’re coming, so I can arrange beer and pizza. If you have any Python-curous friends or colleagues, try to drag them along too.
If you can’t make it this time, do subscribe to the feed so you’ll be up to date with future meetings. Or would people prefer a London Python mailing list? Do let me know…
