Upcoming Events
There’s a couple of upcoming events that some of you might be interested in.
Firstly, Brighton’s first Python meet is planned for February the 20th, and Ian Ozsvald sent us all an invite. Sounds like fun. (I can’t make the first of these, but I’ll keep an eye out for later events.
Secondly, QCon London will be running again this year. It’s a great line-up again. I missed last year, but I hope to be able to make it this year. If you fancy going, you can save £50 with the use of discount code “user_group_50″.

Hi Simon, much obliged for the post! We have 6 definites and another 11 possibles - the first meeting will work nicely. It’ll be in a pub near to Brighton station so, if anyone does fancy coming down, it’ll be a minimum of a walk from the station to a pint of decent beer.
Any londoners - mail me (ian AT showmedo DOT com) and I’ll ping you my phone nbr.
I’ll have my laptop with TurboGears (for ShowMeDo) and I can talk on AI with Python, John (co-organiser) may have some Django stuff, the rest we make up as we go along.
It’ll be great to meet some of the London folk - as mentioned I’d have come up to your meetings but our £5 App people-who-get-off-their-backside-and-do-something-cool meetings are on similar days to yours (http://fivepoundapp.com/).
Cheers,
Ian.
